What the activity is
It is a musical workshop in which the body acts as an instrument. After a warm-up, participants learn clapping patterns, steps, snaps, and vocalizations, and integrate them into a choreography. Boomwhackers add notes and allow for exercises of varying difficulty. The facilitator brings the parts together, concluding by highlighting how each contribution supports the rhythm of the whole.
How the experience feels
A simple pattern passes from one person to another. A step is added, the voice enters, and the group tries to maintain the rhythm while moving. Mistakes are part of the game and help improve listening skills. When the boomwhackers come into play, the rhythm gains color, and the choreography transforms into a piece that fills the entire room.
What makes it special
The format can be carried out in spaces where a conventional rhythm band would not be viable. By working with the body and boomwhackers, it reduces setup needs without giving up a collective musical experience.

- Open space, either indoor or outdoor.
- Free area to move and regroup.
- Sound equipment and microphone for groups of more than 50 participants.
Setup
Open space, either indoors or outdoors, with the group set up in a large circle or semicircle. There should be direct visibility of the facilitator and freedom to move.
