The challenge

An important foundation aimed at promoting social inclusion and creating impactful environments wanted to offer companies a different format for corporate volunteering. The goal was to create an experience that not only had a social impact but also served as a genuine team building activity, fostering collaboration between individuals with and without intellectual disabilities.

Furthermore, the activity needed to have a clear environmental component and be adaptable to different groups and contexts. The challenge was to balance inclusion, fun, and purpose without forcing any of these elements.

Our solution

We proposed Ecobuilders, a CSR team building activity that combines a teamwork scavenger hunt to gather materials with a workshop for building nesting boxes. This activity promotes environmental conservation and local biodiversity, encouraging participants to protect nature.

The experience was designed in mixed teams, consisting of employees from the client company and individuals with disabilities from partner organizations. The challenges were adapted to the group's abilities, balancing physical and organizational tasks. The construction phase became an ideal space for collaboration and raising awareness.
