As you may know by now, we are facing a health crisis due to Covid-19. Quarantine has been imposed, and in light of this paradigm shift, we at Teaming Labs wanted to contribute our part with a new Online Room Escape.

With the motto “reinvent yourself or you will perish” as our banner, we rolled up our sleeves to create a free game that can be enjoyed from home. In a series of intense work sessions in true Game Jam style, we have developed this game of wit and puzzle-solving:

¡Desconfínate! is specifically a clue-based game or online gymkhana where you must use web tools to find the answers to the proposed questions.

Although it is a challenging task if played solo, you can participate as a group and share about 45 minutes of fun with your team. For more information on how to participate as a team, you can check the Team Play Guide.

The narrative thread revolves around a party in the only town exempt from confinement and has a twist that we won’t spoil. While it is focused on a playful sense, it also serves as an opportunity to familiarize yourself with web tools that can be useful in daily life.

¡Desconfínate! is receiving thousands of daily users, has been featured in local press, and has been recommended on specialized escape industry portals. We at Teaming Labs are very grateful to have been able to make the confinement a little more bearable for so many people.
